TOUR GUIDES
Guðmundur Jónasson Travel offers first class guide services with the best guides available in Iceland. We work with experts who are constantly renewing their knowledge of the country, nature and its people. All our guides have passed a comprehensive one-year training programme in accordance with the curriculum for guides training issued by the Icelandic Ministry of Education and authorised by the Icelandic Tourist Board. In most instances our guides have an extensive education and experience in their fields of specialty. If you have a particular field of interest we can provide a guide who is an expert in that field: Geologists, naturalists, specialists in local flora and fauna, ornithology, historians, archaeologists and more.
DRIVER GUIDES
Our driver guides are in the same class as our guides. In additon to their guiding schooling and experience they are licenced to drive buses. We recommend driver guides only for group sizes of maximum 16 persons. For larger groups we employ always a bus driver and a guide for safety and operational reasons.
DRIVERS
All our drivers are professional licensed chauffeurs who have the safety and comfort of the passangers as their first priority. Our goal is that you will have the ultimate experience on your journey in Iceland.
